About On Tour
On Tour is a collection of 24 paintings introducing students to the world’s most famous artists. The paintings reflect significant periods and styles in the history of Western art and were selected to appeal to students while providing an introduction to art history, knowledge, and appreciation.
The companion On Tour book provides students with a glimpse of the artists who produced these master works and the world in which they lived.

On Tour is sponsored by Educational Services Consortium, a not-for-profit education foundation established in 1973 and dedicated to supporting effective teaching and leadership in schools.

Content and Features
On Tour is designed to compliment the STEAM Standards. A teacher may take an entire class On Tour using the book as a teaching guide. A teacher may provide individual students with a book to be used as an independent study guide. All picture frames are numbered for easy cross referencing with the On Tour book. Parents and community members may also participate in the On Tour program.
